Wild Ways is about stepping away from the fast pace of modern life and immersing yourself in the wild. It’s an opportunity to move with the land, build resilience, and reconnect—with nature, yourself, and others. Through movement, stillness, and shared experience, you'll leave feeling stronger, restored, and re-inspired, ready to return to daily life with a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.

A two-day hiking and wild camping experience—physically demanding yet deeply rewarding. Traverse rugged hill trails on a full-day hike before settling into a secluded, beautiful spot for a night under the stars. Gather around the fire for camp cooking and storytelling, with opportunities for quiet reflection or an optional solo night in the wild. The next morning, ease into the day with gentle, grounding practices before returning to the world recharged and reconnected.

Is Wild Ways Right for You?
Wild Ways is for those who feel drawn to adventure, nature, and a deeper connection with the wild. This experience is physically demanding yet deeply rewarding, involving a full day of hiking, camping in a remote and beautiful location, and time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.
You don’t need to be an experienced camper, but a good level of fitness is essential. If you love being outdoors, enjoy a challenge, and are open to a unique, immersive experience, this is for you.

Essential Information
⏳ Start & End Time:
We meet in the north of the island at [insert time], where we begin our full-day hike.
The experience ends the following afternoon, with a gentle morning in nature before returning.
🥾 What to Bring:
A packed lunch for the first day (all other meals provided).
Sturdy hiking boots, waterproofs, and outdoor clothing suitable for all weather.
A backpack for personal essentials (we will provide a full kit list).
🌙 Sleeping Arrangements:
You’ll camp in a beautiful, secluded meadow, with your camping equipment delivered to the site (no need to carry it on the hike).
You’ll need to bring your own tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag.
For those choosing the solo camp option, a bivvy bag and sleeping bag are required.
🍲 Food:
A packed lunch on day one is required.
All other meals are provided, including fireside cooking and warming drinks.
Note to maintain the integrity of the experience and ensure safety in the wild, Wild Ways is an alcohol-free event and open to participants aged 18 and over only.

Rowan is a guide, adventurer, and nature-connection facilitator with a deep love for wild places and the immersive experiences they offer. With a background in marine science, outdoor leadership, and conservation practices, Rowan has spent years exploring the rhythms of nature—through sailing vast oceans, foraging along rugged coastlines, and immersing in the landscapes of the Isle of Man.
Bringing together a blend of practical outdoor skills, storytelling, and deep nature connection, Rowan creates experiences that are both physically grounding and personally transformative. Whether leading a hike over windswept hills, tending a fire under the stars, or holding space for quiet reflection, Rowan guides with care, presence, and a belief in the power of the nature to restore and inspire.
With a focus on safety, adventure, and slowing down, Rowan endeavours to ensures that each participant feels supported, challenged in the right way, and deeply connected to the experience.

Jack is a keen outdoorsman who finds pure joy in moving through wild landscapes, breathing in the fresh Manx air, and sharing the experience with others. Whether it’s trail running across rugged hills, cooking over an open fire, or swapping stories under the stars, he thrives on the simple, powerful moments that nature offers.
A perfect day for Jack? A long run or hike with friends, a dip in the sea, and an evening of campfire warmth, great food, and deep conversation. He’s passionate about bringing people together—whether it’s in the wild or through the community he’s built around music, running his own record shop and hosting gigs and events.
At Wild Ways, Jack brings his love for adventure, storytelling, and connection—creating space for people to move, share, and feel at home in nature. Whether you’re hiking, cooking, or sitting fireside, he’s there to welcome, inspire, and make sure everyone has a brilliant time outdoors.
